Every federal corporation MUST do registration at least in one province (typically where their head office). Without a provincial registration, the federal corporation is NOT complete and can't operate. It also can't open bank account without provincial registration.

For Federal corporation, a numbered company can be ready in 2 hours. You will get documents in email. A named company normally takes 1 business day since it has extra requirement of getting name approval. CRA business number can be ready in 2 hours as well, but for other CRA accounts such as GST, payroll, Tax ID, import export account, CRA authority may take additional time.

For BC corporation, a numbered company can be ready in 2 hours. You will get documents in email. A named company can be ready in 1 day if you choose priority queue for name approval. CRA business number can be ready in 2 hours as well, but for other CRA accounts such as GST, payroll, Tax ID, import export account, CRA authority may take additional time.

For a BC named corporation, a name approval from BC Government is REQUIRED. Government has two queue to process name approval. In Prority Queue, it normally takes 1 business day while in Regular Queue, it takes normally 3 weeks.

For a named corporation, a valid Nuans® report is required. It's submitted to government to process the name approval.

For the Province of Ontario and Quebec, every new corporation must file an initial returns. In other provinces, only required to file at the end of the year which is called Annual Returns. But for Ontario and Quebec, in the very beginning of corporation starting, it MUST be to done, hence called 'Initial Returns'. Failed to do so, corporation will be NULL & VOID after 60 days.

A Minute book is a corporate legal document prepared by a corporate lawyer. As per corporation act, a Minute book is MANDATORY. Minute book consists of by laws, share structure & other legal sections. It's REQUIRED to open bank account. Without it, a corporation is not complete. A Minutebook must be presented when corporation is audited.

Share certificates is the legal and official proof of ownership of corporation. You need it to show in any official purpose such as bank, contracts, mortgage etc. It's an absolute recommended items if you have more than one shareholder. We will send some blanks certificates as well which could be used in future in case you add any other person (such as spouse, child, friend) as shareholder.

Minute Book, Corporate Tax ID, HST Account, Payroll account and Initial Returns are mandatory. Every corporation must have a corporate tax ID, just like the SIN number for an individual. Same applicable for HST & Payroll account. Initial Return is a mandatory filing MUST be done for every new corporation. Fail to file these mandatory filing, may result the corporation NULL & VOID.

Payroll account applicable in all cases. Even if you do not have employee, your own salary to be processed through payroll account. Please note, this is not the process your payroll, but this is the initial set up of payroll account with CRA which you definitely need to process the payroll.

You need import export account only if you plan to export or import from/to out side of Canada. Please note, only physical items (not service) fall under export or import. If you select, we will register this account and give you the account number.

It's the Workplace Safety Board registration. If your corporation plan to have employees now or in future, it MUST register with it. We register and give you the account number and hook you with authority. Please note, it does not cost monthly premium fees, rather authority will advise on your eligibility of free program or fees.

Seal is a protection against fraudulent activity. It has legal value (by default defends) in case anybody create false docs or make false loan in your company name. It's highly recommended if your company has frequent transactions or provide receipt, invoices. It's also needed if you go for loan, mortgage, employment contract, service contract or any sub-contract.
