  • How fast it will be filed?
    As authorized agent of Alberta government, we have direct access to the corporation database. We can file in urgent or express or regular queue. If you choose urgent queue, it will be filed in 2 business hours.
  • What documents I can upload?
    Service speed depends on the selection of the queue here. If you choose the fastest queue, it could be done as fast as 2 hours.
  • Forgot corporation name or number?
    If you can't remember the corporation name or number, you may keep the field blank. After placing the order, send us any document that has the corporation name or number (such as bank statement, article, CRA filling receipt)
  • Adding an Agent for Service (New Regulation)

  • As of March 29, 2021, the Government of Alberta has announced mandatory requirement to add an Agent for Service fo new and previously registered corporations. Failure to do so, the corporation will be dissolved by the government. An agent for Service must be an Alberta resident who can accept notices and documents in person or by mail on be half of the corporation.

  • What is Agent for Service?
    Every Alberta corporation must appoint an Agent for Service who must reside in Alberta. This individual would be the primary point of all communications from the government. This could be the primary director or any other director who resides in Alberta. If all directors are non-Alberta residents, you can appoint an Alberta attorney or can take the service offered by us.
  • Can I change the agent later?
    Yes. You can change the Agent for Service any time. We offer such service through our website.
  • Why need an ID?
    As per government rules, a valid Canadian photo ID submission is mandatory. It can be the driving license or copy of passport's information pages
  • Do you provide Agent service?
    Yes. You can check mark on the form where it says, "If you don't have an 'Agent for Service' in this province, click here".
  • Type of Change or Update

  • The more changes you do in the corporation, the more cost will incur. We have lawyers, accountants and registry agents who will work together to complete the required tasks for these changes. These changes may require government fees which are included in the price.
  • To perform any change on director(s) or shareholder(s), a resolution document is required. You do not need to provide it, our lawyers will prepare it for you.
  • To re-distribute the outstanding shares among the shareholders, a Shareholder Agreement will be prepared by our lawyer and will be provided to you for signature of all shareholders. The price includes the legal fees.

  • Corporation's address change?
    If your corporation's registered address or mailing address has changed, you may update it together with annual return.
  • What is legal name change?
    A legal name change can occur because of weeding or name correction. Please note, for a legal name change, a consent letter is required, which will be prepared by us and to be sent to you by email for signature.
  • Other changes on director?
    It can be adding or removing a director or a residency status or address change.
  • Other updates on shareholder?
    It can be adding or removing a shareholder or a shareholder's address change.
  • Redistribution of shares?
    To re-distribute the outstanding shares among the shareholders, a Shareholder Agreement will be prepared by our lawyer and will be provided to you for signature of all shareholders. The price includes the legal fees.
  • Why there is cost?
    Government allows to do certain update on the corporation along with annual returns filing. Many of these updates involve with additional government fees and legal work such as preparation of director's resolution or shareholder's resolution etc.

  • What is legal name change?
    A legal name change can occur because of marital status changes (legally married, widowed, divorced) or name correction. Please note, for a legal name change, a consent letter is required, which will be prepared by us and to be sent to you by email for signature.

    Technically and legally speaking, you can't replace a director. It implies, you can remove certain director(s) and add certain director(s). The corporation's records will show all these information as history.

  • What is residency status change?
    A director who's immigration status got updated from "foreigner" (non-resident) to a Permanent resident or Citizen, must update their residency status in corporation papers.

      Total share is calculated by adding up each shareholder's share number. Example: your share is 60, your spouse's share is 40. Then total shares = 60 + 40 = 100.
